Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates relied heavily on in-person, instructor-led training sessions for anesthesiologists and nurses. While effective, these sessions were resource-intensive, requiring significant time from trainers and participants, and lacked scalability for growing staff needs.

Solution:

East Bay Learning Design worked closely with subject matter experts to:

Transform Legacy Training Modules: Converted core training materials into interactive, self-paced courses, complete with case studies, multimedia content, simulations, and self-assessment quizzes.

Ensure Medical Accuracy: Collaborated with anesthesiologists and nurses to verify clinical accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Enhance Engagement: Incorporated interactive elements such as drag-and-drop activities, decision-making scenarios, and video demonstrations to mirror real-life situations.

Improve Accessibility: Designed the content for cross-platform delivery, enabling staff to learn on any device, whether at home or on-site.

Outcome:

60% Reduction in Training Time: eLearning modules allowed staff to complete training at their own pace, cutting training time by more than half compared to in-person sessions.

Scalability Achieved: The organization successfully trained more staff with fewer resources, ensuring consistency across locations.
